Do Good Faculty Fellows Pilot Program Successful

It was a pleasure to facilitate the pilot year of the Do Good Faculty Fellows Program, a learning community that engaged 10 faculty members across disciplines in developing courses that integrate social innovation, civic engagement, service-learning, and philanthropy. The first Fellows cohort represented disciplines including architecture, finance, journalism, psychology, communication, sociology, and family science. One Fellow developed and taught a new service-learning course on dying, death, and grieving for future health professionals. Others included a project-based course on justice and the law and a communication course on applying principles of rhetoric to civic life. Read an interview with one of the Fellows HERE.
